Glaucoma Management and Treatment
What is glaucoma?
Glaucoma is an ocular condition where the internal pressure of the eye causes stress on the optic nerve. The optic nerve is responsible for relaying information from the eye to the brain. Prolonged elevated pressure in the eye will cause loss of nerve tissue. If left untreated, glaucoma will cause loss of peripheral vision and even central vision in very severe cases.
Our office is equipped with the technology and instruments needed to allow our doctors to diagnose and manage glaucoma.
